Alderney
General
Alderney is the most northerly of the Channel Islands, it lies only 8 miles off the coast of France and 70 miles from England and is part of the Bailiwick of Guernsey. The Island is only 3 miles (4.8km) long by 1.5 miles (2.4km) wide and has a population of 2,400 people.
